Scott Kalitta's Funny Car burns as it heads down the track during qualifying Saturday, June 21, 2008, for the Lucas Oil NHRA SuperNationals at Old Bridge Township Raceway Park in Englishtown, N.J. Scott was one of my favorite drivers. As many of you know we go to Vegas twice a year to see the races. I loved to see Scott race and see each time who is new sponsor was. At one time Jessie James was his sponsor and I love Jessie. Scott will truly be missed on and off the track. And here in my home as well. I have watched the video twice and cry each time. The photo I attached is unreal. His car burst into flames (witch happens a lot) but he did not stop the car and it ran into the end of the track and exploded.
